Wedding at St John the Baptist
Jade and Kurt have been preparing for this day their whole lives. Watching their parents and grandparents learning what marriage is like.
Jade said – “Kurt and I met when we were sophomores in college. He played baseball for LSU and I was a Tiger Girl, and we had several mutual friends. The first time we actually met I went to study with his roommate at his apartment and Kurt came out to do the dishes, for the first time all semester. His roommates picked on him that he just wanted to talk to me. We started dating right away 🙂 and have been dating for 6 years. My family owns a dance studio (get ready for some dancing at the reception haha), and Kurt came to the studio one Sunday and set up candles with my dad in the shape of a walk way and a heart. I thought we were going to dinner with my parents, and my mom needed to stop at the studio. We walked in and he walked me through the candles with our wedding song playing in the background and proposed. When I turned around all of my friends and family were there. It was perfect :)”
