A New Orleans Wedding to Remember

Juhi and Rohit’s Wedding – A New Orleans Wedding to Remember

Juhi and Rohit met each other as kids, and knew even then that there was something special about the other person. From family trips and staying up late to talk about fate and destiny at the ripe age of 14, to traveling the world together as adults, they figured out early on that they were made for each other. We had the opportunity to interview them a few weeks before their wedding when they came down to New Orleans from New York. We got to know them as a couple, and as individuals, hearing them gush over the other, and explaining what they love and admire about their partner. By the time their wedding weekend rolled around, the Montoto team felt like we were hanging out with old friends!

We can personally say that this couple can get down with the best of them! In fact, the groom danced so hard at the Sangeet, he sprained his ankle. Watching Rohit dance (AND play the trumpet!!) with the kinfolk brass band during the baarat, you would have never guessed that anything was slowing him down.

This couple and their guests came from all over the world, from New York to India, but embraced the spirit of New Orleans in every possible way. Cheers to Juhi + Rohit!
