Allie & Jake’s Story!
“We started dating during our senior year of high school here in Natchez. After senior year, we started college at two different universities. I went to Louisiana State University and Jake played baseball at the University of Southern Mississippi. I eventually ended up transferring to his school. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks organization two summers ago. We got engaged when he returned home for the offseason. He proposed at “Muriel’s Jackson Square” restaurant in New Orleans during Mardi Gras weekend. Being Louisiana natives, the engagement weekend couldn’t have been more perfect! We have no idea what team he will be sent to this spring or where we will live after the wedding, but we are looking forward to the adventure!”
