Here is a little of Matt and Caitlin’s story in their words.
Matt and Caitlin have been on similar paths their whole lives. We grew up in the same hometown of Hudson, New Hampshire, and have been friends since high school. We ran in the same circles and also both attended the University of New Hampshire.
After college, we both moved to Boston separately and ended up running into each other at The Harp, a bar in downtown Boston. Since that night, we continued talking and developed a romantic relationship. We began “officially” dating after the Red Sox World Series Championship parade in November 2013.
Fast forward to January 2019, Matt proposed in Paris (Caitlin’s favorite city). We knew immediately we wanted to do a destination wedding (we both love to travel) and decided on New Orleans due to its French influence, amazing food, and culture.
COVID threw a wrench in our plans and we had to postpone the wedding twice, but we are finally here!
