Carl and I met in the 5th grade and became close friends in high school. His mother was my 5th grade math teacher. We went to proms together (every year), but didn’t officially date until our late 20’s. We started dating in 2019 long distance while Carl was in his residency. Better late than never! Now we both live in Arizona and are excited to come back to Louisiana to celebrate getting married with our friends and family.
