Wedding at Chesterton Square in Ponchatoula
Life is what happens around us while we make all of the other plans throughout our lives. If you do it together, you will grow in ways you never anticipated or thought of.
Mariah told us a story about how they met.
“We were introduced by two of our closes friends. My friend Emily and I grew up in the same home town of Ponchatoula, and she married Stephann, one of Matthew’s best friends from college. They thought we would be a good match so they brought me to his family’s LSU tailgate to meet him—and his entire family. 🙂 It went great! A few months later we were inseparable, and a year and a half later we were engaged! He brought me to lunch at chimes on a Saturday- a favorite of mine. Then I asked if we could go for a walk (which really worked out because he was planning to do that anyway). We were walking by our tailgate spot and he led me to the spot he first saw me, got down on one knee, pulled the ring box out of his boot, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! It was absolutely perfect.”
