Lindsey and Matt were so amazing to work with and she was kind enough to share a little of their story with us!
Matt and I actually went to the same elementary and high school but were a few grades apart so we never officially met or spoke to one another. I was working at a gym in our hometown of Slidell and Matt would come in pretty regularly to work out. One day he stopped by the front desk and asked if I had gone to SMM (our elementary school) and that is the first time we spoke. About a week later Matt saw me working out at the same gym I worked at and asked me if I wanted to go get coffee and I said yes. We spent close to three hours talking and laughing and after a few more coffee dates, Matt wanted to take me out for what he referred to as a real date haha We went to Chimes in Covington and then walked by the lake is old town Mandeville. Not long after that we decided to make things official and had been dating for close to 4 years. At this time we went on a beach trip with my family to my favorite destination, Hilton Head in South Carolina. While on the beach, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes! We have come a long way since that first coffee date and we are absolutely best friends. We couldn’t imagine life without each other and we are both ready and excited to become husband and wife.
