In her words..
Michael and I had mutual friends but never seemed to cross paths in college. After an LSU gameday Kate & Michael were both at Fred’s and we were both looking for our friends and I approached Michael (which if you know us is very on brand) and said Hi, and I believed mentioned somethin about how we had mutual friends (emma & connor) he offered me a shot and we haven’t stopped talking since. It’s not the most romantic, but it’s very us.
We moved somewhat quick we met in October and by November I was meeting Michael’s entire family at his sisters wedding. In December he asked me to be his girlfriend, in March we said the L word and 3 years later he asked me to marry him.
I am a tough critic and I am someone who is hard to suprise and please, Michael somehow managed to propose to me in the most perfect way, after we had a dinner on the Mandeville lakefront. After he popped the question I looked across the street and saw 75 of our closest friends and family at a bar across the street, we went there after and celebrated all night.
