Downtown New Orleans Wedding at St. Louis Cathedral and The Jaxson
Gracie and Brock had a beautiful New Orleans destination wedding that was full of excitement, tears, love, and laughter.
Gracie’s mom gave a wonderful toast to love. How love keeps us guessing, Love keeps us wondering, how it mends our flaws, how it fixes our brokenness and how it enhances our strengths.
From her mom:
“We initially were opposed to having a “destination wedding” because my husband and I (who met and married in Louisiana and had 5 children) felt it placed a hardship on guests. But when Daddy was killed last year in a tragic accident it just broke our baby daughter Gracie’s heart to imagine him not walking her down the same aisle as her sisters and planning all the food etc (he was in the restaurant business) so I relented but only if we chose New Orleans. You know…Back to where it all began. Home. Jimmy and I met and started dating the summer before our first semester at LSU. SO it felt right. Every vendor from The Jaxson to The Monteleone, to Kim Starr Wise to INola Events, has treated our tears and our tender moments as though they were marrying a family member. It has just felt right from the very beginning.”
